This has been a very busy week for me. Not only was it my baby girl’s second birthday (which was eventful enough), but we also had a slew of visitors in and out of our house. My mom, brother’s family, two sister-in-laws and some friends all stopped by. While I really love visitors, it hasn’t allowed a whole lot of downtime for me and my girls. I’ve also not been able to have my standard breakfast everyday this week…
I love eating breakfast. I would, and sometimes do, eat breakfast for every meal of the day. At restaurants my favorite dish is definitely french toast (and The Original Pancake House in Eugene, OR has my favorite). But, when I am at home I eat a ham, egg and bagel sandwich. It really is not anything special. It is just a fried slice of ham, a patty of egg on whatever bagel with cream cheese I have at my disposal. But still it has been a near daily ritual for the past 6 years.
Long story short my week has not been the same without it.
